Whether you're new to the area, just starting your faith journey, or a long-time member of our congregation, there are many ways to get more involved in the life of our church:

 

Sunday Worship Assistance contact:  Church Office

Our church choir is always looking for people of all ages to share in their music ministry.  All are welcome regardless of experience.

Ushers

We welcome and encourage your participation in our worship service.  If you and/or your family would like to serve as Usher at either of our services, please email the church office or sign-up in Fellowship Hall.  Click HERE for a list of current needs.

Liturgists

Greeters

Share-the-Care

Children age 3 through 1st grade are "released" for a time filled with arts, crafts, and other activities after the first 20 minutes of our worship service.  We rely on volunteers to  you would like to lead our children in these activities, please email the church office if you are willing to participate.  Click HERE for a list of current needs.

After Worship Fellowship

Music Ministry

Our church choir is always looking for people of all ages to share in their music ministry.  All are welcome regardless of experience.  Rehearsals are held on Wednesday nights at 7:30 PM.  Childcare is available until 8:30 PM during November & December. Contact Becky Sweet for more information

 

Family-Oriented Events contact:  Church Office

Fellowship Dinners are a great opportunity to take a break from cooking during the week.  Dinner is served at 6:00 pm each Wednesday and remains available for late comers until 6:40 pm (or so).  Our program concludes by 7:15 pm.  Click HERE for more information ...

Presbyterian Women's Association (Circles) various (see below)

Our circles meet once a month September through June.  In addition we also have other gatherings in spring and fall and a cookie exchange at Christmas time.
 
The circles support various mission projects with their offerings.  The group donates to Caregivers, Presbyterian Homes & Family Services, Inc., Lifeline through Loudoun Hospital, the Fresh Air/Full Care summer camp fund, Beth and Bill Rule's Malawi Mission in Africa and the Abused Women's Shelter.
 
We also serve our church family with recognition for high school and college graduates and those who have been confirmed in the church.  We organized the contributions of Health Care Kits which were packed and shipped to Malawi.  The kits were essential supplies that enable home care for people with AIDS, an all too frequent cause of death in Malawi.

Moms Alive contact:  Sarah Jones

Moms Alive is for moms with kids of all ages! Our mission is to provide a social and supportive atmosphere for mothers in a Christian setting through education and outreach. We meet every Tuesday 8:45-11:15 am in the Church Library. Contact Sarah Jones (MASecretary@lpcva.org)  with any questions or suggestions. See you there!

Men's Fellowship contact:  Dennis Upton

Looking for an opportunity to socialize "just with the guys"?  Men's Breakfasts are generally scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of every month at 8 am at the church, unless otherwise noted in the newsletter and/or bulletin. If in doubt, contact Dennis Upton.
