This is a program of the YMCA of Loudoun County. Volunteer
opportunities include mentoring the child of a single parent (ages
7-15) and accompanying a child on local outings every 6-8 weeks (see
also YMCA).
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and are asked to
spend about 2 hours/week for a one year period. Good ethics
and character are important and volunteers must be consistent and
caring.
Donations accepted via YMCA marked as "Big Friends". The
volunteer will be matched with a child gender to gender.
Background checks required.
